Upon finishing degrees in linguistics and studio art, Emma moved from the southeast to the northwest United States and continues moving. Emma writes, records, collects, travels and is always looking for patterns of communion and relationship that undergird all things. Approaching art as a means of diplomacy, Emma desires to promote curiosity, thoughtfulness, and empathy in the creation of environments where a unity of spirit can coexist among passionate and open-minded individuals. All this Emma tries to practice through the art of noticing.
